Asphalt, metal structure, A - crystal, wires. In his most recent works, Krištof Kintera develops his vision of the modern high-tech world and its products, which have become an integral part of this world and an almost natural part of us, our second nature. In his rendition, electronics and parts of computers, televisions and other devices transform into hybrid living organisms, whose wires and cables have become the roots and nervous system of a new natural world, creating entirely new species of plants. Postnaturalia, a Utopian vision of the post-natural world concerning ideas about the future of our plant, was presented at Collezione Maramotti, Italy in 2017; part of the installation was purchased for the collection. Krištof Kintera studied under Professor Milan Knížák at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. He was nominated for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award three times. He is a member and leading figure in Jednotka art group. He was a contributor to the Entropa installation in Brussels. In 2012 and 2013 he received the Ministry of Culture's achievement award for his work on the Czech art scene. His work is represented in a number of major international public and private collections. (National Gallery in Prague, Prague City Gallery, Museum der Moderne Salzburg, Rubell Family Art Collection Miami, Enrico Boglione Torino, Brooke and Danile Neidich New York, Thomas Day Newbold, Thomas Olbricht Essen, Graf Spee Geneva, Jerry I. Speyer New York and others.)
