Gilt bronze. The fire-gilded bronze case carried by two mermaids symmetrically positioned with backs facing each other, set on a base with motifs of the Baroque Donnerbrunnen fountain in Vienna. A bronze pair of eagles and vase with flowers (cornucopia) are at the top of the case. Enamel dial with Arabic numerals, steel hands, center circle in guilloché brass. Chime on the quarter hour, date indicator, one-day movement with an anchor escapement.
