At the beginning of his career, architect Jiří Soukup worked with glass and its integration into architecture and interior design. His work has been published in the U.S. magazine New Glass Review 1990/11. This lamp is an ideal example of pure design from the mid-1960s. Metal chrome tube on a circular base, white glass shade. Original electrical wiring, functioning. Inscription on bottom of base: "Ing. Arch Jiří Soukup 1965, 6 ks".
