Luděk Havelka studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague under Prof. Lidický, then as a scholarship holder in Florence. He was a sculptor, medallist, devoted to figurative sculpture and portraits. He worked as a teacher in Zlín and Uherské Hradiště and was a member of the Association of Medal Artists. The work comes from the estate of the artist.
