Jiří Sozanský was considered to be a rather serious and uncompromising artist who from the beginning of his work aimed at borderline situations and discomfort. He stayed away from various groups, denounced the tastelessness and beauty standards of contemporary art, and created works ranging from drawings and crafts, through written works to sculptures and installations. In Valdice Prison, he created a series of installations in memory of political prisoners and victims of communism, in the prison grounds in the walking yard of the Third Department of the Third Correctional Group. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
