Pavla Mautnerová (1919 - 2001) SACRAL SPACE

Pavla Mautnerová was close to intuitive and spontaneous metaphors. She worked with fast-drying plastic paints and built a temple of the soul from them with sculptural precision. She filled the sacral space with impressive sensuous colors and used the symbols of the circle and bent Gothic arches, which delimited the space of a sacral character. Sensitive and existential motifs combine the work of Pavla Mautnerová and Robert Piesen into a soulful bond that motivates and intertwines with each other.
