For Hladík, the creation of relief was a completely new and innovative chapter, featuring collages on the basis of cut glue. These had been created since 1959 and some of them were part of the XXXII Venice Biennale. He often composed reliefs from leaves or stones. In the offered relief The Moth, this surface is also written into the form of the depicted moth. Here, too, he does not abandon the organic coherence of shapes and the organic logic of natural connections with the richness of the disturbed surface of the dramatic play of light and shadow. The work comes from the family of the artist's heirs.
