Václav Machač (1945 - 2020) A BOWL

Václav Machač was a leading representative of Czech and world glass figural work since the 1970s. He graduated from the studio of prof. S. Libenský (1965–1971) at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In his work, he is based on classical sculptural modeling and works with the technique of glass blown into a mold and subsequently polychromed. A bowl made of densely shaped polychrome glass with sealed crumb with an irregular embossed surface. Valuable studio work, 1st of 2 parts.
