Libor Fára (1925 - 1988) RHYTHM - LOVERS

At the exhibition of the Máj 57 art association, Libor Fára exhibited simplistic still lifes and thus continued the pre-war modernity without quoting anyone in particular. In his paintings, still thematically related to poetism and formally drawing in part from cubism, purist austerity appears as a counterweight to his previous surrealist period. This sphere also includes the sketch Rytmus - Lovers, which underwent greater processing on canvas in the same year. Double sided drawing.
