Krištof Kintera (1973) WHERE I WAS BORN

In his most recent works, Krištof Kintera develops his vision of the modern high-tech world and its products, which have become an integral part of this world and almost a natural part of us, our second nature. In his rendition, electronics and parts of computers, televisions and other devices transform into hybrid living organisms, whose wires and cables have become the roots and nervous system of a new natural world, creating entirely new species of plants and structures. Krištof Kintera studied under Professor Milan Knížák at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague and at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten in Amsterdam. He was nominated for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award three times.
