AN EMPIRE TABLE CLOCK

This elegant, unconventional model of a Parisian table clock features a preserved enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, fire-gilt precision housing, and gold-plated hour and minute hands. Chime on the half hour, quiet clockwork under glass in back, signed on the dial by “J. B. Blanc à Paris”, a renowned French clockmaker who was based on Rue des Vieux Augustins in Paris. Restored.
