Jaromír Rybák's glass objects have the ability to fascinate, but also disturb and frighten the viewer. In his objects, the light and color effects of glass unite with the bizarre and monumental nature of form. Marine life – creatures from the deep, dark unknown, monsters, beautiful, gentle picturesque apparitions and ruthless sharp-toothed predators – is a striking source of inspiration. His work is the world of magical beings, fish, fruits of paradise, cyclopes and lizards, which allow us a glimpse beyond the limits of reality. The works of Jaromír Rybák, who attended Secondary Glass School in Železný Brod and studied under Professor Libenský at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, are represented in galleries, museums and private collections around the world.
