An important work that dates from the time after Bazovský returned from traveling for his studies across central and northern Slovakia over the previous two years, subsequently settling in Martin. He turned his attention to the areas of Heľpa and Detva. Paintings from this period show a characteristic focus on a shade of thick blue and red, along with earth tones and, above all, composition.
