Milada Marešová created a unique artistic expression, which she used to tell human stories and destinies. The bearers of the story are often women - sometimes challenging, sometimes immersed in their own hard-to-capture thoughts. Her paintings were strongly transcending the times in their social aspect. More than a critique of social conditions, they depict humanity and the human condition. It is the moments of important life milestones that recur in Milada Marešová's paintings, and brides or widows become archetypes of real unidealised women. Framed under anti-reflective glass with UV filter.
