Tavík František Šimon (1877 - 1942) PARIS

An original theme of the city waterfront at dusk. František Šimon Tavík experimented with graphic techniques and painted at the same time. In 1928, he became a professor of the newly created graphics department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. His work consists largely of views of Prague, New York and Paris.
