Cyril Chramosta (1908 - 1990) FROM A FAIR

The rich painting and graphic work of a native of Husinec village, national artist Cyril Chramosta (6.8.1908 – 3.12.1990), is full of the distinctive vitality of South Bohemian life. The colorful color and rhythm of the landscape of the Šumava foothills is also reflected in a painting from the war years with the motif of a mother carrying a toy horse to a child. Cyril Chramosta was always looking for new motifs that mapped various festivities and motifs from life in the village, where he projected his peculiar and optimistic style.
