Ota Janeček (1919 - 1996) POND

Ota Janeček's Pond seems quiet, delicate and believably depicts the forms of nature, but not in a simple and descriptive way, but in an emotional and poetic language. Raw reality has no place here, but the world is seen through Janeček's lens and told from the heart in a painterly analogy of verses that flow on the calm surface of a pond, and the brush presentation in the form of grasses in the foreground acquires a visual poem and rhythm.
