Jiří Kroha (1893 - 1974) PAIR OF ARMCHAIRS

The unique design of pair armchairs is an example of the creative feature of the prewar modernist architect Jiří Kroha. This versatile architect, designer, set designer, painter, and educator has won several awards. His famous realization is the building of the Secondary Industrial School in Mladá Boleslav, which was built between 1923 and 1926, for which the offered paired armchairs were designed and manufactured for the assembly hall. Oak veneered softwood, original leather. Excellent condition.
