The forgotten Czech sculptor Vasil Petrica graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague between 1930 and 1934. He exhibited at Umělecká Beseda in Prague, won the second prize in the All-Sokol Rally in 1932 or took part in the liberation monuments, where he created a bust of General Šnejdárek (1937).
