Hans Wegner (1914 - 2007) FOLDING CHAIR JH 512

This is a famous design from 1949 by the Danish designer Hans Wegner, made for the furniture factory Johannes Hansen. Folding chairs were to serve as more compact and flexible variants of armchairs in the small spaces of households, where the JH 512 model could be hung on the wall. The offered folding chair comes from the equipment of the Czech villa of Daniel Knotek in Lázně Toušeň. This is probably an early copy from the 1950s. Great condition.
