Richly decorated Baroque secretaire with geometric trompe-l'œil inlay featuring various types of wood and ivory. Maria Theresa carrying a child (Joseph II) in a royal cloak and crown is depicted on the top center cabinet door. The center section features other figurative scenes. The faces of the figures are inlaid with ivory. The secretaire features three drawers below the abattant and three drawers on each side of the upper cabinet. Original condition, including the brass mounts bearing reliefs of a head in profile and the monogram "M.T."
