Painter Irena Dědičová studied under Professor Vladimír Sychra at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (1951–1956) and in the mid-1950s she participated in several group exhibitions in Prague. In 1958 her work was displayed at the Youth Exhibitions at the Brno House of Arts, and in 1959 she had a solo exhibition in Bucharest and participated in the international youth exhibitions in Vienna.
