Jiří Frič graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and the Secondary School of Arts and Crafts in Prague. His sculptural works are known mainly abroad. He has exhibited in India, the United Arab Emirates, the USA and Canada. Among his well-known realisations are the 1979 Japanese Paleontology Pavilion and the I. Gandhi Memorial in New Delhi. The monumental pendulum is a kinetic object made of stainless and chromed steel on a granite plinth. 2004 solo exhibition at the T.G. Masaryk Museum, Rakovník; 2015 solo exhibition at the INEX showroom, Prague; 2024 Art-lines, headquarters of the ČSOB bank.
