In 1913, Kafka finally closed the warehouse of his sculptures in Paris and settled in a new studio in Prague 7. The bust of Jaroslav Vrchlický and the bust of the actor Jindřich Mosna were placed in the foyer of the National Theatre. A few years later, after the death of Stanislav Sucharda, he was appointed professor at the School of Applied Arts in Prague. This opened a new chapter in his life, which was intensified by the political and social changes after the end of the First World War. The offered work comes from the estate of the author from the famous Kafka's villa in Prague 6 - Ořechovka.
