Milan Benda (1941 - 2017) SHIELD - FEMALE BREASTS

Czech sculptor Milan Benda graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he was a pupil of Vincenc Makovsky and Karel Lidický. He was influenced by his father, Břetislav Benda, with whom he collaborated for a long time. In addition to figurative sculptures, where he is inspired by the beauty of the female body, his portrait work is also appreciated. The offered laconic sculpture Shield - Bust is thematically, compositionally and in its final form, a tribute to the impulses of Štursa's inspiration.
