Zdeněk Sýkora was a Czech painter whose works are represented in many important collections of modern world art. He is one of the world pioneers in the use of computer technology in the preparation of a work of art. The combination of artwork and computers had many opponents in its early days (in the 1960s), mainly due to the belief that the computer could suppress human sensitivity. However, for Sýkora, the use of artificial intelligence was an opportunity to re-examine the properties of basic artistic means, such as color and shape. Numbered 15/50.
