Jiří Anderle is currently one of the most important Czech graphic artists, and the role of man, whether mythological, artistic, historical or social, has repeatedly come to the center of his work. He returned to the theme of transience - "Vanitas" in a complex and elaborate cycle, which combines virtuoso work with composition, the fragile beauty of flowers and fresh fruit and the transformation of the human face through the lens of relentless time pulsating at the lower edge to the beat of the human heart.
