PAIRED PLATES WITH FLOWERS

A pair of highly decorative plates from the Hungarian workshop Zsolnay founded in 1853 in Pécs. Ceramics with a distinctive cobalt line deriving its style from Haban ceramics with a decor of four sinuous branches with pomegranates. Oriental motifs were no exception with this type of pottery.
