Jiří Seifert (1932 - 1999) TWO STUDY DRAWINGS FOR SCULPTURES

Jiří Seifert spent the longest part of his adolescence in the Bohemian Paradise - in a landscape where water, in the rhythm of geological time, carved deep reliefs into the earth's surface and created rock towns. It is certainly no coincidence that in Jiří Seifert this landscape awakened such a deep relationship with stone. The presented pair of drawings presents studies for future stone sculptures.
