Karel Dvořák (1893 - 1950) A TRAGEDY

Sculpture by Karel Dvořák - an important figuralist who underwent training with Drahoňovský, Myslbek and Štursa. After deviating from the monumental work, he became interested in Michelangelo's sculptures, and in the work Tragedy, drama and historical stylization are thus manifested.
