Swift drawing by Mikoláš Aleš - painter, draftsman, decorator and illustrator, one of the most important personalities of the so-called "Generation of the National Theater", a classic of 19th century Czech art by Max Švabinský, a perfect draftsman and engraver of extraordinary technical skill with great attention to detail. A leading Czech painter and graphic artist, he studied with M. Pirner at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, where he later worked as a professor and led a graphic special class.
