The story tells the tale of how a foolish devil confuses two people in the world whom he is tasked with transporting to hell. Instead of the evil princess, he brings to hell a skinny and simple-minded country woman, Kate. She makes a fuss in hell, and the devil is forced to bring Kate back into the world.
