Tavík František Šimon (1877 - 1942) SAINTE-CHAPELLE

František Šimon Tavík was among Max Pirner's students and co-founder of the Hollar association. As a graphic designer, he was responsible for many faithful period records from all corners of the world. The Sainte-Chapelle portal leads to the two-story Paris Chapel, a Rayonnant Gothic masterpiece with a dazzling upper chapel in which maximum dematerialization is achieved by suppressing walls in favor of columns and windows, which can almost appear as a stained-glass "greenhouse".
