Tavík František Šimon (1877 - 1942) SWIMMING BY THE SEA

František Tavík Šimon took a trip to France thanks to Hlávek's scholarship, and the desire to travel never left him. He stayed in Paris for a long time, where he made a living by selling his elaborate graphics. In 1926, Tavík František Šimon undertook a trip around the world, where he first visited the USA, Hawaii, Japan, China, Ceylon and Suez via Western Europe. Swimming by the sea is reminiscent of some of his works from trips to France, when he artistically follows the works of the French impressionists.
