Zdeněk Burian (1905 - 1981) HISTORY OF TRAMPING

Illustration for the cover of the legendary publication by Bob the Hurricane - The History of Tramping. The book is a period description by a direct participant, it lists some localities where pre-war tramps went and deals with the phenomenon as such, including tramp principles and songs. The excellent Czech painter and draftsman Zdeněk Burian has gained fame here and abroad with his animated films and perfectionistically elaborate, thoughtful and inventive illustration drawings.
