Josef Vohrabal (1908 - 1994) NUDE

Josef Vohrabal is among the Brno painters who are currently gaining popularity. He taught himself to paint, he was mainly influenced by Bohumír Matal and Jánuš Kubíček. In the 1950s and 1960s, he was in a period of painterly search, when he found his painterly opinion through the abstracted figure and worked with the harmony of colors, rhythm and dynamics. Abstract female curves and players of musical instruments undulate rhythmically on the canvas.
