A representative portrait of a red-haired girl with a wreath is one of the typical examples of artistic focus and style of the painter Vratislav Nechleba. Vratislav Nechleba was a Czech painter, a pupil of Max Pirner and later a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts. He focused mainly on portraits of a representative nature (E. Vojan, T. F. Šimon), in his speech he was quite conservative, he followed the old masters and sharply opposed modernity.
