Ota Janeček was a major Czech painter, printmaker and illustrator. A member of the Mánes Union of Fine Artists and Hollar Association of Czech Graphic Artists, He found inspiration in nature for his early, poetic series (Birds, Trees, Butterflies, Grasses).
