Viktor Foerster was born on August 26 in Prague - V Jirchářy. His father, Josef Foerster (1833-1907) was a composer, conservatory professor, regenschori at St. Vojtěch and St. Welcome to Prague and reformer of organ music. Since childhood, he gravitated towards visual arts and found use especially in mosaics.
