Hans Muller (1873 - 1937) DEER

Hans Müller was a pupil of Edward Hellmmer at the Vienna Academy of Arts. Although he is probably best known for his portraits and sculptural busts of famous figures in Viennese society, he also created figurative sculptures and animals, especially hunting dogs. Many of his sculptures are permanently exhibited in the Simu Museum in Bucharest. Hans Muller was a graduate of the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Edmund von Hellmer. After the First World War, he was entrusted with the construction of memorial works in honour of those who gave their lives during the war.
