Karol Molnár (1903 - 1981) BAY BY THE SEA

Karol Molnar studied at the Ukrainian Academy in Prague under Professor Jan Ivan Kulec, and later under professor Jakub Obrovsky at the Prague Academy of Fine Art (1932–1938). In 1938 he received a scholarship residence in Paris to study under Frantisek Kupka, with whom he forged a lasting friendship resulting in many return trips to France.
