Alois Bílek (1887 - 1961) A BOUQUET OF PEONIES

Alois Bílek was a Czech painter, graphic artist, illustrator and architect, one of the first documented creators of abstract painting. He settled in Paris and his works had an incredible personality, as evidenced by the presented Bouquet of Peonies. The French critic P. B. Sédés wrote about his works: ".... Bílek's works resound in joy with vivid colors, immerse us in dreams and encourage us to think. In Bílek, colors express feelings of tones and scents."
