Although František Hudeček did not complete his studies under Professor Kysela at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, he met people at the academy: Gross, Toyen, Štýrský, E. F. Burian, Rykr, Kolář, Janoušek, and of course Chalupecký, who had a strong impact on him. His art was influenced by many forms, from Surrealism, Poetic Symbolism, Cubism and Constructivist tendencies to Pop Art.
