C. Williams (1707 - 1771) ROLLERCOASTER

Historic roller coasters were at first just long ramps, often covered in ice, down which people slid down on a block of ice. Accidents were quite common on them. At the end of the 18th century, carriages with wheels appeared on the railways, which allowed for fun even in the summer months.
