Jiří Stejskal (1932 - 2015) PÍSEK

Jiří Stejskal was born in Soběslav. He completed his studies in the studio of Prof. Cyril Bouda. Jiří Stejskal's style is quite specific - he tries to re-evaluate the depicted space, for which he uses compatible surfaces and protruding, often golden and silver, contours. In some cases, he also prints the surfaces in the form of a monotype.
