Tavík František Šimon (1877 - 1942) ICE RINK UNDER THE CHARLES BRIDGE

František Šimon Tavík was a prominent graphic artist, painter, wood engraver and later taught at the Academy of Fine Arts. He was a member of the S.V.U. Mánes and co-founder of the Hollar association. He travelled extensively, and in 1926-1927 he even made a trip around the world.
