This rather expressive painting depicts the chaotic situation before the start of the battle. Jan Žižka is sitting on a horse and the army with banners and a monstrance lines up for the attack. The painting was probably created to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the death of Jan Žižka of Trocnov. Viktor Oliva created several works for the occasion.
