The impressive interior offers a view of the devotional motif in the chapel with a grotto. Natural and artificial grottoes were incorporated into shrines with statues of saints, and the Virgin Mary was a particularly frequent figure. The artistic conception of the chapel stands out by combining the light of the altar candles and natural daylight, which sculpts sharp shadows in the architectural elements.
