This impressive almost life-size panel painting depicts the biblical scene of Pentecost - the Descent of the Holy Spirit. Mary is surrounded by the apostles, upon whom the Holy Spirit descends after Jesus' ascension. The listeners, who came from different countries and spoke different languages, understood the apostles and paid attention to what they were saying. Many people were baptized that day.
