Antonie Brandeisová (1849 - 1926) (Umkreis/Umfeld) VENICE

Antoinetta Brandeis first studied in Prague with Karel Javůrk, then enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She liked Italy so much that she continued to live and work there permanently until her death. She painted mainly in Venice, Florence and Rome. She regularly hung her paintings at the exhibitions of the Krasoumná jednota in Prague, where they were popularly bought by collectors.
